Photography Workshop - Pittsburgh

Composition And Technique

Look, I’ve been to workshops before.  Remember Ritz Camera?  A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far…  Whoops, I just saw a movie that was based loosely on my life and have been quoting lines from in.  I digress, what I was trying to say is that there are very few quality workshops out there.  I was sorely disappointed and set out to create a workshop that I would want to take.

What To Expect:

We will spend the bulk of our time making photographs.  I will take you to interesting spots in and around Pittsburgh while teaching you what to look for and how to capture it.  I’ll teach you about using the light to your advantage and cover advanced composition techniques such as layering and the composition pyramid.

Please make sure your camera is capable of shooting in manual mode for this workshop.  I also recommend a viewfinder cover for longer exposure shots.

Because of the small size of each workshop I am able to spend some one on one time with each participant.  I reach out to everyone before the workshop and learn what it is each person would like to achieve by taking this workshop.  This enables me to customize the workshop to cater to each photographers desires.
