How I Roll…

All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go…  Wait, what’s in my camera bag?  Interesting you should ask, two cameras, two battery chargers, 6 camera batteries, 3 AAA batteries, time-lapse remote, wired remote, 85mm lens, 50mm lens, 16-35mm lens, 10 stop ND filter, 6 stop ND filter, circular polarizer, graduated ND filter, 9 SD cards, 2 lens pens, iPad, and a MacBook Air.

IMG_2019I wish I could say I travel light but once you add all of this stuff up it makes for a pretty hefty carry-on.  For this trip I checked a larger bag that has my tripod and a light camera backpack for my day trips.  This set up is just to get me to my destination and then I’ll just choose what I need when I venture out and about.  I don’t think I need to tell you to never pack your expensive gear into a bag you’ll be checking, the airport personal tend to treat your bag like it owes them money.

Am I forgetting anything?

What photography gear do you usually pack when you travel?  Any tips or tricks you’d like to share?  Add your thoughts in the comments below.

Don’t see how you could possibly be forgetting anything except maybe your clothes and toothbrush? lol Have a wonderful honeymoon and try to remember that the main goal of this trip is really not photography. That said – I expect some great photos will be coming soon!
