The Photo Journal is where we will feature fun, interesting, or beautiful photos each week. Whoever has the most interesting or different photo each week will be featured on the site and praised like the amazing photo genius you are.
Janice from P.A. submits this photograph taken during the recent snow storm on the East Coast. The photo was taken along a local hiking trail where an old farm used to sit. The farm is long since deserted… except for ghosts! The composition of this photograph stood out to me, the snow falling added a little drama to the scene and you’re left wondering what stories that old place could tell. Abandoned buildings will always be interesting photo subjects because they are part of our history and stir up fond memories (maybe a few bad memories some places). Thanks for the great submission, keep them coming!
Inaugural Photography Contest is nearing its end, be sure to check out the rules and submit your photographs to win a 32GB iPad mini!
Remember, if you’d like to share your art with the rest of the world don’t hesitate to submit them via the link below (called “Submit Your Pictures Here!” weirdly enough). There are other ways to have your photograph featured on the website as well, periodically we will feature a photograph that represents the “This is America Challenge” or “Great Places to Photograph”. As always, thank you for your wonderful submissions and please keep them coming. Enjoy!
